The two Yorkshiremen behind the brand began creating lovely vibrant yarns nearly 40 years ago in offices above a grocery store. After moving to Green Lane Mill, Holmfirth, where it remains to this day, the brand quickly gained popularity amongst designers producing contemporary works. With assistance from some such designers, the brand then moved into the handknit market and is now popular with knitters the world over.
