The Noro Silk Garden Sock is a beautiful yarn and easy to knit with.
As you can see in the photo, I used two different colors, nr. 484 and nr.519 for a pattern from Kaffe Fasset.
(and I always knit a signature or a joke on the inside :) )

This is a fantastic yarn and easy to knit. The socks made with this yarn look great and are warm and cosy.

Love Noro - the changing colours keep you really engaged in the project.

I love the blend of colours in the Noro wool and how they work themselves into the fabric. I did find that the thickness of the yarn is variable - from quite thick almost unspun to very thin - which is ok in the fabric but made for problems when sewing up because the 'unspun' sections were liable to snap.
I knitted a jumper based on the Tumnus design from 'yarn stories' but with my choice of two Noro wools and a variation to the slip-stitch design.

I love this yarn but only gave it 4 stars because there were 3 knots in the 5 balls I purchased.
Great results but the need for hand washing and the slightly scratchy feel are a disadvantage.

I loved how the colour-change happens. I took the advice on the pattern though, swapping the ball of yarn, every two rows. This definitely helped the colour-change effect. There was no need to cut the yarn each time, I just dropped one yarn and used the next. I had tried just using one ball at a time, but the stripes of colour were too wide, so I ripped it out and used the suggested method. I didn’t bother to do that for the sleeves and you can see the difference! However, I’m delighted with the result and so is my granddaughter.

Love the noro silk garden garden wool. Bought the laredo ball, and as always, I played with wool in that I added other colours to it, and took out the orange, yellow, green tones. Loved the finish item - a 70th birthday for a special friend.
