DROPS Yarn

We have hand-picked the UK’s favourite DROPS yarn for our collection here at Laughing Hens, including the much-loved DROPS Alpaca, super-soft Baby Merino, cosy Nepal and versatile Safran.

DROPS Design have a staggering range of yarns to choose from to create their extensive pattern collection with – all with different fibre compositions, textures and characteristics from smooth cottons to bouncy woollen singles to lightweight and airy chainettes.

DROPS also choose to leave a majority of their alpaca and wool fibres untreated – this means that the fibres have been simply washed without the use of chemicals before they are dyed, reducing their environmental impact and preserving the beautiful, natural appearance and texture characteristics of the fibres.
