Downloading PDF Patterns
You can find all your patterns in the ‘My Downloads’ section after you have signed into your Laughing Hens account. Any patterns purchased or downloaded before creating your account will not appear.
It is important to use the same email address linked to your account when purchasing or downloading patterns otherwise they will not appear in your account.
Alternatively, you can also download patterns from the order confirmation email sent at time of purchase.
From either My Downloads or the email, please click on the link to download the pattern. Please note, if using a laptop or computer you may need to hold down the "Ctrl" key while at the same time clicking on the link. All pattern downloads are PDF files.
Using a Laptop or Computer
To view or open a PDF file on your computer, you will need to have Adobe reader installed (most computers come with Adobe pre-installed). If you need to update to a newer version you can find it here:
https://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/
If the downloaded pattern does not open immediately, it will often be visible in the bottom left or right of your screen. By clicking on the PDF file icon, the pattern can be opened – see image
Depending on how your device is set up, the PDF file icon may not show; instead, the pattern may have gone to the Downloads area on your computer, in which case you will need to access Downloads to find the pattern.
Please also remember that you might have installed software that disallows new windows to open automatically or your browser setting may prevent downloads. Such software can stop you from viewing/accessing your pattern.
Using an Android Device
Once you have clicked on the link to download your pattern, the pattern should save automatically to your phone and can usually be found in the Downloads folder within File Commander or My Files.
Using an iphone or ipad
Click on the link to download your pattern and it will open in a new tab. The pattern is also normally saved to ‘iBooks’ or ‘Files’ on your device and the pattern can also be opened from that location.
